The impact of vaping, tobacco, and nicotine is far reaching and this ECHO aims to provide a combination of best-practice tools and strategies to achieve optimum and equitable health for patients, students, and families.
Participants in the ECHO will join in case-based learning via videoconferencing which includes:
Utilizing best-practice strategies to assess individuals for vaping, tobacco, and nicotine use and exposure
Providing and referencing best-practice treatments including behavioral counseling and pharmacotherapy
Advocating for tobacco control policies and reduction in barriers to treatment at the school, healthcare system, local, state, and federal levels
Sessions will be held from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CST every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. There is no cost to participating sites or individuals!
This ECHO offers free continuing education credits for qualifying professionals with collaboration, support, and ongoing learning with specialists and experts across the state.
